Hi, I'm Bex
Travel enthusiast, seasonal worker and artist.

I created Roam with Bex because I wanted a space where I could throw all my passions onto one (slightly chaotic) platform. So welcome to my love child of all my favourite things - painting, working seasonally, travelling the world and story-telling.
Back in 2019, I had a wake-up call when I realised I was living on auto-pilot. I was drinking too much, working for minimal money, and getting stuck in situationships that didn’t serve me. The problem? I had absolutely no idea what I actually wanted to do, but I knew there was more to life. Quitting the rat race was terrifying, and the last five years have been a rollercoaster of highs, lows, and "what the f am I doing?" moments. My world has been flipped upside down (more than once) and I have learnt that there is no 'right way' to do life.
I figured that if I've had moments of wanting to do a complete 360 on my career and life, perhaps others are experiencing the same. So I ignored every single negative thought that told me setting up a blog was silly and launched Roam with Bex anyway.
If any of this resonates with you (and oh my god well done if you made it this far) - welcome aboard!
